Product Demonstration/Infomercials

Because this type of production is so vast, Product Demonstration and Infomercial videos make up over 70% of our corporate work flow.  The  fact is that it’s easier to follow along with a well-produced video than to try to read through spec sheets or instruction manuals, and if a picture is worth a thousand words, a well produced video yields infinite possibilities.  Any product or service that you have to market/sell will have greater success with a video.  The following samples below show what we consider to be opposite ends of the spectrum. The first two videos were produced for DOKA USA, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of concrete form-work. The second video was produced for Hawk Pointe Golf Club, a private country club located in northern New Jersey.

DOKA USA Introduces Frami

On February 10, 2006, in the middle of a blizzard, our 2 camera crew spent the day in a warehouse in West Babylon, NY.  We were hired to document a time-coded time-trial between Doka USA’s Frami wall form system and handset.  Once all the footage was loaded into our editing systems, we quickly realized that the time-trial was a small part of a much bigger story.  The above promotional video is the direct result of our storytelling abilities and was comprised almost completely from “B-roll” footage.   Since it’s completion, early in 2006, literally thousands of copies have been distributed to the Doka  USA’s sales force for use as a selling tool.  The success and satisfaction of this production lead Doka to once again employ our services in February of 2008. They flew a 2 camera crew to Beuford, Georgia to shoot and produce the following video for their Dokaflex-S floor form system.

DOKA USA Introduces Dokaflex-S

Since Doka was well aware of our production/storytelling abilities, they wanted us to produce a video similar to Frami but also incorporate a brief overview of “Basic Installation” instructions.  We suggested using a local Georgia camera crew to help reduce travel and accommodation costs, however Doka opted to fly us in to guarantee the proper shot coverage.  The above video shows why they made the right choice.

Hawk Pointe Golf Club, It’s Where You Belong!

When Hawk Pointe Golf Club decided to make the change from a public golf course to a private club, Angela Wilson, Membership Coordinator, knew they needed a video to help with this task. After meeting with Angela and viewing the Club’s course and amenities, we knew that we wanted to incorporate a diversified mix of both ground and remote-aerial photography and videography.  The main observation we made, on location, was that what makes Hawk Pointe truly unique and very desirable is its communal atmosphere created by the staff and the members.  We worked very diligently to make sure this was apparent in the finished piece.  In addition to having physical DVD’s to hand out to potential clients, we provided a player-embedded version of this video for use on their website. This allows them to effectively show their “story” globally 24/7/365 with virtually no additional distribution costs.
